An experienced Maths and Science Tutor, have improved students grades from D to A whilst supporting and motivating them. I believe that tutoring is not only teaching a subject but also building on students self-confidence and motivating them to achieve their highest standard. Have had students who were on D grades but over the following weeks, the grade improved steadily with the final result being A/A*.

Each student is supported with exam preparation by building on exam techniques and answering questions.

I keep parents up to date on their child`s progress and give honest feedback on their performance. I believe that each student has to have that little bit of self-motivation to want to learn, so if a student is not performing to the best of their ability (for no valid reason) I will give the parents honest feedback.

I graduated as a Chemical Engineer and currently work in the Construction Industry. I enjoy teaching GCSE Maths and inspiring young people to strive for the highest result, and that is why I continue to teach it.

I currently offer online sessions using WebEx and Skype. I have a full DBS check.
