Jacqueline

I am a fully qualified teacher with twenty years` experience and I teach Language and Literature at GCSE and A Level. I have taught in a variety of settings, including at Cambridge Regional College, at Hertfordshire County Council and as a private tutor. I now work as a full time private tutor.
I work mostly with year 9 to year 13 students and really enjoy supporting students through their GCSEs and A Level courses, and I learn a lot from them at the same time! They often have the capacity to surprise you with their thoughts, especially in literature.

I also really enjoy working with adults and have found over the years that people need to return to education for many reasons, including to find better work and it is very rewarding to help them to succeed.
I love my job and I am always trying to improve the way I work and gain more subject knowledge.

I have also worked as an examiner now since 2014,marking Language and Literature GCSE (both with AQA and Edecxel) and Cambridge International IGCSE. Working as an examiner really helps me to give my students focussed insight into what examiners are looking for, which ultimately helps them to be successful.

Since the pandemic, I now work only online.
