I am an enthusiastic and supportive English teacher with much patience and experience. I can teach Literature and Language. Literature upto A Level and degree. Language and Literature upto GCSE.

I have 15 years experience teaching IGCSE - who are going ahead with exams still this year.

I also have nearly 2 years experience working for my local authority as a home hospital tutor, ensuring students who are out of education (for a variety of health reasons) receive excellent tuition to keep them upto speed with their peers in English.

I have a real passion and enthusiasm for my subject and really enjoy seeing my students flourish and enjoy this wonderful subject. My lessons are fun, informative and aimed at inspiring a life long long love of Literature.

Availability: I am quite flexible at the moment.

Experience: Teaching in private Independent Schools for the last 15 years - across the ages and ability spectrum. I have a great deal of experience of teaching CGSE Language and Literature and A Level Literature.

My son is dyslexic and my daughter is gifted and talented. I was able to support them both to achieve their full potential in this subject. My son achieved a Level 4 and my daughter a Level 9.

I have also been teaching children who are out of the education system for mental/physical health reasons for the past two years and have a good understanding of the requirements of various examination boards as a result and able to build relations and confidence with many students suffering from anxiety issues.
