Information about Emma
Hi my name is Emma. I`m a 28 year old, qualified Mathematics teacher orginially from Birmingham.
I currently work at Caludon Castle Secondary School as the Key Stage 5 Lead in Mathematics. I have been teaching for seven years, having completing my PGDipEd at the University of Birmingham in Secondary Mathematics and graduating from the University of Reading, with a second class honours in Mathematics and Statistics.
I am qualified to teaching up to post 16 (A-level).
I have a real passion for Mathematics and wish to inspire young people to feel the same.
Availability: Weekdays 4:30pm - 8pm
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: - Teacher of Mathematics and KS5 Lead at Caludon Castle Secondary School, ages 11-18 (2018-present)
- Teacher of Mathematics at Fortismere Secondary School, ages 11-18 (2014-2018).
- Teacher of Mathematics at Wilnecote High School, ages 11-16(2013/2014).
- PGDipEd Secondary Mathematics (2012/2013), consisting of two placements in central Birmingham.
- Tutored a year 6 student for 8 weeks in the run up to her SATs.
