Information about Candace
Previously described as a friendly and approachable tutor, I am a research scientist currently using my knowledge of biophysics to aid in the development of new cancer drugs. I studied at Durham university to obtain an MPhys in theoretical physics.
My approach to tutoring involves study of the overall curriculum, focusing on a student`s weaknesses and emphasising revision methods prior to upcoming exams. I believe it is important to cater to a student’s own learning preferences as well as ensuring a recap of each previous session each week.
Availability: Weekday evenings from 4pm
Weekends 10am - 6pm
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: I have been tutoring for 6 years since I left university. In this time I have tutored A level Maths and Physics and GCSE Maths and science.

Candace not only explains concepts well but she also explains the application of these concepts in a clear manner. Candace is also very good at giving the right amount of exam practice. She also likes to tailor each session according to the needs of my daughter. She is friendly and approachable and is very knowledgeable. We will not hesitate to recommend Candace.
