Hey! I`m Surya- I`m currently a student at the University of Warwick and am looking forward to tutoring and helping students through GCSEs and A Levels- they can be stressful times!
I have been tutoring for over 3 years, ever since I was 16. I love teaching and helping students understand difficult concepts and solve tough questions. I love Maths and Physics as they are closely linked and both involve a degree of problem solving and looking at questions from outside the box. Teaching students how to look at these kind of problems in different ways in order to solve them is beneficial as it increases your versatility towards answering difficultly worded questions and understanding exactly what the question is asking you to do.
I have multiple years of experience, as previously mentioned, at helping my students improve in their subject area. I tend to go through topics simultaneously with school/ college, in order to extend and improve from the foundation built in education. If students do not understand topics in class, I will spend time at the basics to help them understand why and when such a rule/ equation/formula should be implemented.
Lessons will be question heavy as the best way of improving in Maths and Physics is to keep attempting questions. Students won`t be sat in silence attempting questions- I tend to prompt my students to explain and show clear and concise steps in order to obtain the maximum available marks.

Availability: Available on weekdays after 5pm.
