I`m currently studying for a Masters in Physics at the University of Oxford. I have been tutoring since April 2016.

My tuition method focuses on identifying the general topics which a student needs assistance with, before assessing the student`s understanding with questions in order to find what specific concepts the student needs clarifying. Typically I will prepare a session in advance to include example questions which are relevant to the student`s exam board. I can then set a homework sheet based on the day`s topics which I would mark and return to my student, ironing out particular points if necessary.

In addition to my extensive tuition experience is academic excellence; I achieved a 1st (scoring 79%) in the undergraduate component (first three years) of my degree.

Experience: I have taught 30 students for a total of over 200 hours. Notably I`ve tutored Further Maths A-level, the Oxford Physics Aptitude Test (PAT) entrance exam and I`ve given mock interviews for Oxford physics and engineering applications.

In summer 2018 I taught a class of ten for two days on a course aimed to help students pass the PAT.

I have taken a module in Teaching Physics in Schools as part of my undergraduate degree, which included six days of experience as a teaching assistant.
