I`m Head of Classics at a leading independent boarding school as of September 2020 - a motivational and experienced teacher and tutor for beginners in Latin and Greek, all the way through to Oxbridge preparation and adult learners.
Availability: Various sessions available; please do get in touch - it is very rare that an arrangement is not possible due to availability.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: I graduated with a BA in Classics from Royal Holloway, and have taught for 10+ years in independent boarding schools, and as a private tutor covering ab initio Latin and Greek all the way through to Oxbridge preparation and adult learning.
As of September 2020, I am the Head of Classics at a leading independent boarding school in Somerset.

Dan has helped my son for Common Entrance Latin and in a couple of lessons he improved significantly. During the first lesson Dan identified which the areas needed more support. My son did well in the exam and approached it with confidence. Dan is professional, always on time and his lessons are structured and engaging. He provides feedbacks, advices and interesting learning resources which my son enjoyed while revising. I highly recommend Dan.
