ONLINE TEACHING ONLY due to Covid
Hi, I am currently an Undergraduate student studying Liberal Arts (Geography/History/English modules included) at King`s College London. I am happy to teach English or help develop students` writing skills (essay and creative). I achieved a 9 in GCSE English Literature and an 8 in English Language. I also achieved an A grade in History and Geography, amongst other subjects. I am happy to teach students of any age (A-Level and below), however, have most experience with GCSE students. I may be able to tutor in History and Geography also, however, my main focus is English and general essay writing- this can include helping students with one off essays or writing pieces for other subjects. It is important to note, I also completed the Extended Project Qualification at A-Level, if help is needed for that.
My teaching style is dependent on the student`s individual needs and I can help revise content, however, I prefer to focus on developing the student`s essay writing skills through improving their clarity and ability to convey ideas, as well as covering content when necessary- I believe the two go hand in hand.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I tutored 5 students English through their GCSE years whilst studying my A-Levels. My students all achieved grade 6 and above, some of whom had been placed in classes that indicated their standard of work was some of the lowest in their year group (with the grades they were working at being around Grade 1-3). My tuition experience has only been in English, however, I have also helped people with essay writing and proofreading (personally and voluntarily in classes whilst at school). I have also informally aided people make great strides in History and Geography. I can help with writing for other purposes, however, this will be dependent on the individual case.

I also currently tutor GCSE students with a tuition agency and am a volunteer tutor for Year 6 Students.
