I’m Mr Biscoe-Taylor, a fully qualified Maths teacher with over a decade of teaching and tutoring experience. I’ve worked in a wide range of schools — from mainstream comprehensives to specialist schools for students with ASD — and I’m currently Head of Maths at an independent school.

I hold a First-Class Degree in Mathematics and Education, a PGCE in Secondary Maths, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Advanced Mathematics, and I’m currently completing a Masters in Professional Education at the University of Warwick.

I’m also the creator of the TRIP Maths system, a structured and exam-focused revision approach that’s already helped hundreds of students build confidence, independence, and achieve excellent results at GCSE.

Experience: Since 2015, I’ve taught students across KS3–KS5, including A Level, but now specialise in preparing Year 11 students for the GCSE Higher Tier. My experience ranges from supporting high-achieving students targeting Grades 8–9, to working with students with SEN who need a more structured and supportive approach.

As Head of Maths and a long-term tutor, I’ve guided students into top universities, supported learners working towards apprenticeships, and helped many to exceed their target grades at GCSE.
