I am an experienced, qualified teacher of Spanish from beginners to advanced including GCSE and A Level. I currently coach students for the Edexcel, AQA and OCR exam boards as well as offering conversation classes to adults at all levels. I also offer Spanish for business. I am a qualified teacher of EFL English as a foreign language with over 10 years experience of teaching PET, FCE and CAE to foreign students. I have worked in schools and further education colleges. I am currently school based part-time but I am available to offer additional classes to those seeking private tuition. I thoroughly enjoy language teaching and aim to help individual students achieve their aims and enjoy the process of getting there.

I use a variety of teaching methods to engage learners including powerpoint for presentation and reinforcement of vocabulary and grammar video clips to bring language to life interactive communication activities and listening, reading and writing exercises. Using the communicative approach I aim to encourage student participation from the start in order to rapidly build confidence and fluency.

Availability: I am available weekdays/evenings and some Saturdays. I also offer online lessons in all subjects.English as a Foreign Language, PET, FCE and CAE as well as beginners to advanced Spanish. Experience: I am a qualified teacher of Spanish to A Level and French to Key stage 3. I started teaching adult beginners Spanish and then trained to become a teacher with Surrey County Council. I worked at a school in Kingston before moving into adult education. I gained the Cert TESOL teaching English as a foreign language certificate and then taught both Spanish and EFL at East Surrey College for 10 years. I am currently school based part-time.
