I am a recent Warwick University graduate with a First Class Integrated Masters Degree in Mathematics and Statistics who has clocked many hours providing Maths tutoring. My consistently high results reflect my passion and comfort with the subject. I really enjoy teaching, whether that involves making tricky concepts approachable or pushing high achievers to explore beyond the set curriculum.

My aim is to help students build confidence, accuracy and speed. When tutoring, I use a range of worked examples to make sure my students acquire the underlying logic on how to approach questions on their own, and in exam situations.

I provide targeted homework exercises to address each student`s individual needs, and track progress over time, ensuring their customized learning plan is as effective as possible.

Maths is a subject in which it`s extremely important to understand and consolidate previous content. Our sessions will be designed to increase depth of mathematical understanding and build a sound foundation of new concepts.

Experience: In addition to my academic achievements, I have experience across a wide range of teaching environments. I have volunteered at primary schools where I focused on KS1 reading and KS2 Maths teaching including one-on-one teaching. My experience also includes GCSE and A-Level Maths tutoring sessions and most recently, I have continued tutoring online via Zoom for which I use a drawing tablet and whiteboard software to provide highly interactive lessons.

I was also awarded a bronze medal in the national Junior Mathematical Olympiad and have experience taking STEP papers and am happy to provide coaching for these extra-curricular challenges.
