I have recently moved areas. Flute specialist.
Royal College of Music trained. I am happy to teach all ages and levels in flute and recorder. Clarinet and piano up to Grade 5. Music exams are an option. The emphasis at all times is to enjoy making music.

Availability: Daytime,evenings and weekend appointments available

Experience: I have over 40 years` experience teaching, working as flute specialist with the Bedfordshire Music Service and then as woodwind teacher in Cornwall. As well as teaching one to one, I have taught small groups, taken school orchestra rehearsals, coached chamber music,and wind band and orchestral sectional rehearsals.
I have played in various professional orchestras including the Milton Keynes Chamber Orchestra, Worthing Symphony Orchestra and the Northern Sinfonia. I have played in several small ensembles. I have attended master classes with James Galway, Karl-Heinz Zohler and Wissam Boustany, and have attended a course with Takahashi on Suzuki flute.
