Information about Zainab

I am a 4th-year Medical Student at the University of Oxford, having recently graduated with a BA in Medical Sciences, and currently continuing my clinical training. I achieved 3 A*s in A-Level Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and also successfully completed the 11+.
Over the past three years, I have tutored multiple students at 11+, GCSE, and A-Level level, as well as mentored aspiring medical students through every stage of the application process — from UCAT preparation to interview practice. I have experience across major exam boards (Edexcel, AQA, OCR A/B) and tailor my sessions to each student’s individual learning style.
My teaching is student-centred, with a strong focus on building exam technique, improving timing, and addressing common misconceptions. I integrate mark schemes, visual diagrams, and methodical, step-by-step explanations to help students master challenging concepts. I offer flexible online tutoring to fit around students’ schedules, and my students have consistently achieved excellent results — including Grades 8/9 at GCSE and A/A at A-Level* — reflecting both their hard work and the effectiveness of our sessions.
I am passionate about education because I love watching students grow in confidence and realise their full academic potential. In medicine, my favourite field is endocrinology, as I find the hormonal regulation of the body fascinating — it’s like an intricate, finely tuned communication network that keeps every system in balance.
Friendly, approachable, and highly knowledgeable, I aim to make every lesson engaging, productive, and tailored to each student’s needs.

Availability: I am available all afternoons and evenings (Weekdays) and all day (Weekends).
