I`m a fully qualified and experienced QTS KS1 to KS5 Teacher/Tutor, external GCSE and IGCSE examiner for Maths and Science and Chartered Engineer providing One-to-One, On-Line and Home-School Tutoring with over 6 years of tutoring experience.
I can empathise with how challenging and sometimes disheartening learning some of the more complex content can be and my aim as a tutor is to help students get past their initial feelings of confusion, low self-confidence and frustration and unlock a passion for the subject and their true potential which is clearly evident from referrals and the results my students achieve.
Availability: Throughout the week from 9.00 am until 7.00 pm but am flexible to accommodate individual requests.

Experience: What makes me a unique tutor?
• My tried and tested teaching philosophy is all about enabling my students to become independent learners in the shortest time possible as opposed to long-term tutoring.
• Proven track record of building self-confidence in my students by helping them understand the most important concepts that enable them to tackle any question and take their learning to the next level.
• Fully qualified QTS teacher who has been graded as ‘Outstanding’ with experience of teaching in both Primary and Secondary settings including A Levels.
• Hold a Master’s degree in Engineering and postgraduate qualification in teaching English with over 18 years professional experience gained as a Chartered Engineer which allows me to demonstrate extensive subject knowledge particularly in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics and bring key concepts to life by relating them to the real world.
• Over six years of broad tutoring experience.
• Provided home-schooling to the satisfaction of the local education authority.
• Successfully acquired numerous postgraduate qualifications which I use to experiment with new teaching strategies as advocated by experienced practitioners and postgraduate research in the interest of promoting deep and independent learning.

Asad is a brilliant tutor who has worked hard at helping our daughter`s understanding in science, especially where she has been lacking. He engages with her with ease and she has started to enjoy her lessons which is a far cry from previous times. We would recommend him to anyone who wants their child to progressively do well.
