Hi, I’m Ariela - a current Dental student at King’s College London and a Humanities Philosophy and Law iBSC graduate from Imperial College. I’ve been tutoring for over 6 years and have supported 100+ students in Religious Studies, Biology, Chemistry, and competitive university admissions for both Medicine and Dentistry. On social media, I have helped over 5000 followers with exams and admissions.

I first began tutoring during sixth form, helping younger students grasp tricky scientific concepts. With each student, I focus on building confidence, critical thinking, and exam technique using structured, proven methods that get results.

My academic background bridges the humanities and sciences. This unique combination helps me explain topics clearly and make connections that stick - whether we’re tackling A-level chemistry mechanisms or refining an Oxbridge personal statement.

Tutoring style

My teaching method is structured, interactive, and results-focused:

Teaching is focused towards attaining top grades: I focus on learning directly from exam board specifications and mark schemes. A large portion of teaching is dedicated to exam technique.

Lesson flow: we begin by reviewing previous homework (or work completed from school), then build on key concepts through guided examples. Students try similar problems to secure understanding before tackling exam-style questions.

Homework: Following each session, targeted work may be provided. This is all marked by myself outside of lesson time, and reviewed with the student at the start of a lesson.

I draw on my dual academic background - dental training brings scientific precision; philosophy sharpens critical thinking. I’ve translated this into a teaching philosophy rooted in clarity, structure, and progressive challenge. Many of my students have achieved A.A grades and progressed to top universities.
