Information about Ohemaa

Hello!
;

My name is Ohemaa and I am a passionate second-year medical student at King`s College London. I love the scientific and interactive portion of medicine, and I strive to portray that and ignite the ambition of the sciences in my students. I have completed A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths achieving A* A* A, and through studying these subjects I have gained a good idea of the ideal revision and exam techniques needed to excel in exams.
;;I carefully curate lessons to meet each student`s needs and I emphasise the importance of exam technique. I strongly believe that every student can succeed in any subject if given the right tools and I have extensively studied learning multiple techniques to better understand my students. This has been proven to be effective in my previous students who have been able to increase their grades from 4s to 8s in a matter of months.
I am excited to work with you and help unlock your full scientific potential!

Availability: My availability is Mondays and Wednesdays 16:00-18:00 and Sundays 13:00-16:00

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have tutored and mentored students in GCSEs, A-levels and medical school applications for a total of 4 years. My teaching style is interactive and personalised. I aim to recognise and work on weaknesses by building on each individual student`s strengths. I especially like to use examples and diagrams to explain concepts better, and I believe that exam questions are an excellent way to promote active recall. I use ‘key-word’ banks with my students so that they know exactly what to include in their exam questions which further maximises their exam scores. I recommend flexible revision techniques that can be used for many concepts so that my students can see the links between multiple topics and provide in-depth answers which will get them higher marks in exams.
