I`ve been teaching Mathematics for 18 years and a Specialist Leader of Education (Maths).

I have made a measurable impact on pupil progress which was recognised in 2012 by being designated one of the first 1000 specialist leaders in education for mathematics for my outreach work in developing the quality of Teaching & Learning in Mathematics.

I am offering tuition for KS3, GCSE and supporting adult learners who may need a little extra confidence boost. I am a specialist in understanding Maths Anxiety and have strategies that supports my tutees to overcome this anxiety.

Availability: Weekdays after 6pm

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have a number of years experience of working with students at both 1-to-1 and small group levels. I use an approach of diagnosis and ensuring that the student has the basics secured to facilitate what is taught in school.

I am particularly good a giving pupils confidence to challenge their examinations by supporting students in implementing strategies to overcome maths anxiety.
