I am a fully qualified Maths teacher with over 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience across KS3, GCSE, GCSE Further Maths and A‑;;Level. I’ve taught in mainstream, specialist and alternative education settings, including roles as Head of Department and SENCo, and I bring a calm, structured and confidence‑;;building approach to every lesson.

I work especially well with students who struggle with confidence, anxiety, dyslexia, ADHD, PDA or general disengagement from Maths. Building rapport is one of my strengths - students feel understood, supported and safe to make mistakes, which is often the key to unlocking real progress.
My lessons are highly personalised, exam‑;;board‑;;specific and focused on clarity, confidence and measurable improvement. Many of my students improve by at least two grades, and I have long‑;;term families who have stayed with me from Year 7 through to A‑;;Level.

I tutor online only, using clear explanations, structured practice and targeted feedback to help students feel capable and proud of their progress. Parents often tell me they feel relieved to have finally found someone who “gets” their child - and students frequently say they wish I were their classroom teacher.
