Information about Emily
I am a full-time professional tutor for Mathematics, Economics and Business Studies to A Level standard. I currently have a cohort of 50-60 which includes international students and students from top UK boarding schools, such as Eton, Harrow and Marlborough College.
I have a proven track record for significant grade improvements. This year, my 23 GCSE students achieved an average of 1.7 grade higher than their predicated grades. My A Level students achieved an average of a grade higher than predicted.
I have taught all three subjects recently in a school environment and regularly do supply work. I completed my PGCE at Southampton University achieving outstanding for both the written and practical elements. I have enhanced DBS and insurance.

We feel so lucky to have found Emily, she is just wonderful! She plans every lesson and actively seeks the best resources to explain tricky topics. She has increased my child’s confidence dramatically and given them the belief in their own ability. Emily has fitted us into her busy schedule and we are so grateful to her for everything.

Emily has really helped my son’s subject knowledge for A level Business especially as he is new to the subject. He is much more energised and confident and enjoys a good rapport with Emily.

I asked my parents for a tutor as I felt with Covid19 working from home in the final term I had missed quite a lot of work. I also wanted to try and ‘get ahead’ for A levels before starting back to school. I found the tutor very accommodating. Also plenty of homework and good feed back on work.
