I am an experienced Maths Tutor in Stratford-upon-Avon looking to help students of all abilities and all levels improve their understanding and enjoyment of mathematics. I am passionate about helping people improve their mathematical abilities and thrive on seeing people succeed. I have a PhD in Mathematics Education, PGCertHE in Academic Practice in Higher Education and a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics teaching. I therefore have the knowledge, skills, and experience to help you achieve your mathematical goals.

My wife, Dr Dani can provide Chemistry tutoring from GCSE to degree level and general Science tutoring at GCSE level. She works at a UK University as a Teaching Fellow in the Chemistry Department. Her main focus is to help students reach their potential. She believes that with an adaptable and supportive teacher, any student willing to work hard can achieve their goals.

Dani`s current role finds her teaching regularly to small groups in the teaching labs. Dani also teaches small group tutorials and larger group workshops and has achieved Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, which recognizes excellence in higher education teaching practices. She is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and holds a doctorate (PhD) in Chemistry from Loughborough University, where her research was the synthesis of new anti-inflammatory compounds based on natural products found in fish oils. Prior to this, she gained an MChem Masters degree in Chemistry from Nottingham Trent University.

In addition to teaching, Dani also does work in schools to promote science and particularly, chemistry! This has involved doing ";Magic of Science"; experiment demonstrations in assemblies, organizing visits for schools to visit University Chemistry teaching labs and giving information talks on higher education.

Experience: I have provided mathematics and statistics support to thousands of students in UK higher education since 2014. The range of students I have taught and supported is vast and diverse - I have experience in supporting students with mathematics problems in Economics, Business, Accounting and Finance, Chemistry, Nursing, Psychology, Engineering, and (of course!) Mathematics. My PGCE also enabled me to teach and support students from Year 6 to Year 13 in mathematics in schools around Leicestershire. The course also requires student teachers to go and support and teach primary school children for two weeks so I have experience across all levels of learning in the UK. Furthermore, my PhD was in Mathematics Education so I am experienced in supporting and teaching mathematics using the latest innovations and methods that have been proven to work.
