I have over 20 years’ experience within education. I am a well qualified and highly experienced teacher with substantial experience of achieving excellent results at both GCSE and A Level. I also have a track record of mentoring KS4 and KS5 students to achieve their full potential. If a student is stuck, worried about sitting exams or finding the subject a challenge, I can help!
Availability: I am available immediately.

Experience: I have worked with 1000s of students who are worried about getting ready for the Mocks and the summer exams. My work with them has seen students improve significantly as they build confidence, knowledge and skills in the subjects. I am available to teach a range of GCSE subjects including History, RS and Sociology. At A Level, I can support students to achieve strong grades in Sociology and Psychology.

Carol is absolutely amazing. My friend, who is a dyslexic adult learner, was very worried and fed up with his college work. He was so anxious, it was stopping him from feeling confident to start anything on his own. Carol, in one session, managed to take away his anxiety, build back a bit of confidence, and feel hopeful that he can actually pass his course. She`s very experienced and knew exactly what he needed at that time. I`m so glad we picked Carol as the tutor.

They say the “best teachers teach from the heart and not from a book.” Carol’s experience of teaching is clearly evidenced in the relaxed atmosphere she creates when teaching me. I am more focused, and she has taught me techniques on how to answer exam questions. Carol makes learning fun and I find it easy to concentrate and engage when she is teaching me. Carol is great.
