I am an experienced Teacher of English and Head of Department with a proven track record of good results. I have an indepth knowledge of the AQA English Literature and Language courses, the latter of which I mark for AQA. I also have extensive experience of teaching both specifications of AQA English Literature A Level.
Peparation for exams, whether in Y10 or Y11; foundation work in KS3 and plugging gaps that have arisen from missed time or curriculum are specialities.
I specialise in helping students to fine tune their respoinses. Rather than just "getting you from Grade X to Grade Y", tutoring is a diagnostic process that looks at which levels you are currently in for specific questions, what skills are stopping moving through those levels, and which questions are "quick wins" to help you get there.
Availability: Evenings - generally after 7pm.
