I`ve taught English at GCSE and AS/A2 for eight years and know exactly what examiners are looking for, being also an examiner for WJEC, Edexcel and AQA. I`ve enabled my private tutees to not only meet the assessment criteria for their examing board, but, (more importantly in my opinion!) to actually ENJOY and appreciate literature and language on a personal level. It`s not only about knowing what you`re expected to write : it`s about having a personal response and an enquiring mind, and in my experince, these things take years to develop. I aim to engender this in my students so that they can manage their success for themselves.

Availability: evenings after 4pm, weekends and some weekdays on arrangement
