Hola! My name is Celia and I am a Spanish teacher of Spanish living in London for almost five years.

I have a strong personal interest in languages and I often take part in conversation exchanges in London. When I travel around the world, which is another of my great passions, I like to put my skills into practice.

As a non native speaker of English myself, I understand how hard learning a foreign language can be and how important is to have the right person to teach you and support you along the way in order to achieve your goals. That is why I consider myself an empathetic and responsible teacher with a strong ability to adapt to my student’s needs at all times, whether that is aimed to passing an exam, getting ready for a trip to a Spanish speaking country, strengthening your CV or just learning something new!

Availability: I am available to teach from Monday to Thursday from 5pm (this time could be more flexible) at your house or at a public space in London.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I am a qualified teacher of Spanish with a Degree in Spanish linguistics and Literature and a Master in Teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

I have a broad experience teaching Spanish to non native students. Upon finishing my studies I worked at the University of Salamanca teaching young students from all over the world. After that, in London, I have worked as Spanish Assistant and I’m currently part of the MFL department in an independent school where, amongst other responsibilities, I teach conversational Spanish to Key Stage 4 and 5.
All of this has given experience with GCSE, A Level, Pre-U and IB curriculums.

I also am a qualified DELE exam marker and have a deep knowledge of these exams and what is necessary to achieve good results.
