Hi, I’m Annette, a semi-retired qualified English teacher. I now live in Southern Spain where I have the time and resources to offer the best in online tuition.
I worked in the English state system for 30 years in the classroom and pastoral management. This, along with many years experience as an examiner for GCSE, gives me a wealth of knowledge and information to prepare tailored lessons online.
My teaching style is engaging and interactive. Students are expected to participate fully in their learning. Each lesson is carefully crafted to support the real needs of those in my care.

Availability: Currently, I have availability in the mornings, from 10am to 2pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Friday has a little space late afternoon and there’s a couple of slots on Sunday. Tuesday and Thursday morning are pretty full but I’ll look to accommodate where I can.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: Currently, I am employed part time as an English language instructor in a thriving private academy, just outside of Malaga. In addition, I tutor several students from KS3 and KS4. I currently act as an examiner for two major exam boards. Obviously, the lack of external exams this year mean that I will only be assessing international candidates. However, I am still sent vital information on examination and moderation assessment which helps to support the students.
I have a current DBS.
Previously, I worked in state education for thirty years, as an English teacher as well as a pastoral manager. Therefore, I am well aware of the need to offer emotional support during learning to gain the best academically.
