I am a dedicated and experienced primary school teacher with 32 years experience teaching all primary school year groups. I am highly specialised in primary phonics, reading, maths and English as well as 11 plus tutoring and independent entrance exam preparation. I enjoy using a variety of teaching and learning methods, tailored to your child in order to overcome barriers and encourage confidence. I use pictorial and concrete methods of learning to establish a solid foundation on which to build skills. I am proficient with the demands of the curriculum in both maths and English and the outcomes that are expected in order for children to progress and succeed.
Availability: Daytime, after school and evenings as well as Sunday afternoon availability.
