Hi, I`m a Natural Sciences Master`s graduate (majoring in chemistry) from the University of Bath and I have recently started a Research Assistant job in Infection and Immunity. I have a strong background in science- at University I studied organic and inorganic chemistry, pharmacology and biochemistry, and my A levels were in biology, chemistry and psychology. I am friendly, honest, and approachable and have lots of experience in studying/exams, so can provide many of useful tips and techniques from experience. I would love to help a student who is struggling in a particular subject to gain the skills and confidence they need to achieve the grade they desire.

I try to make the sessions as friendly and relaxed as possible with the aim of helping the student enjoy learning and allowing them to ask lots of questions, as I believe this is the most effective way to learn.

When you enquire please let me know the topic you would like me to focus on before each session so I am able to adequately prepare and make the most of each lesson.

Experience: I was part of Tutor Hunt during my second and third year at university and I tutored four GCSE and two A level students. This was useful experience in developing my tutoring style and getting used to adapting the sessions depending on each student`s needs.

I was also part of the peer mentor scheme at my university. This involved meeting up with first year students and helping them with topics they are finding difficult. It also involved offering a pastoral role by helping them with difficulties such as exam nerves and settling into life at university.
