I am a qualified primary school teacher, currently on maternity leave.

During the course of my 5 year teaching career I have worked with children of all abilities and ages, including shadowing the Special-Educational-Needs-Coordinator to help children with additional needs.

Drawing upon my experience as a teacher, I understand that every child learns differently and tailor my lessons towards their needs. Further, due to my classroom experience, I can teach the New National Curriculum to a high standard, helping achieve `mastery` of the given subject.

As a methodical planner, I employ clear learning outcomes and goals to help drive progress over the course of multiple lessons.

I am a passionate and energetic teacher, who enjoys helping children discover a new found love of learning and enjoy delivering this through a fun and dynamic teaching method.

In my spare time I enjoy reading children`s literature (having done my dissertation on it) and hosting book clubs for children after school.

Availability: I am available on the weekends during term time.

Experience: I have worked with children since I was 16, starting with volunteering at a local special needs youth club.

I went on to study Childhood studies at university, and then completed my primary PGCE afterwards.

Since then I have been working full time as a teacher in school, holding my teacher qualification for 3 years.
