Hi there, my name is Graham. I`m a graduate from the University of London with a BSc Honours degree in Biology with additional degrees of MSc in Neurobiology and PhD for research on memory. .

Teaching and tuition has always been a passion and I would love to help you with your studies and see you achieve your required exam grades. For me, studying is also about enjoying the learning experience so providing a lifelong understanding and interest in nature and biological functions and systems.

As a student myself I studied A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics and then after achieving my degrees at University I decided to undertake a career in education tutoring Biology. I began teaching Biology in a school and became teacher-qualified. Since then I have taught Biology at schools and colleges where I became the senior lecturer in Biology and Course Manager and am now focused on TutorHunt students.

I have many years of experience using effective methods of learning, revision techniques and assisting with exam question practice. I have set and marked many exam question papers.

I not only enjoy teaching but am very pleased to hear of the successes of my students. I am friendly, enthusiastic and motivated to help my students. It is important to work hard, be organised and plan your time effectively.

I have many years of taking tuition on KS3, GCSE and A Level Biology (plus additional biological courses such as human biology, health studies, sports science and yoga).

I am also able to mentor University applicants and I can give advice on UCAS choices, personal statements and UCAT tests for those applying for Medicine.

Availability: My availability is flexible and I will try and match my times with your needs. Online tutoring is available for non-local students though I do visit students at home if they live nearby.

Experience: I have been a Biology tutor including ongoing GCSE and A-level Biology since leaving University. I have tutored all the main exam board syllabuses and I am up to date with these. I pay attention to my students` current study needs, their learning background and knowledge. It is important to build confidence, knowledge and understanding in any areas of weakness. I use my own notes related to the exam board specifications to ensure the topics are covered with the information required to attain a top grade.

My classes are planned and organised in advance and I am happy to set and mark homework and go over exam questions. I am also happy to cover any particular topics you feel require extra focus and attention. My teaching style focuses on recall, understanding and study techniques that work for you.

I have taught tuition lessons over many years at schools and colleges and am now focused on helping TutorHunt students achieve their exam grades and succeed in their career journey.

Availability: I am free to teach at times which are mutually agreed which could be daytime, after school, evenings or weekends. Please check my current availability. .
