I was born in South Korea and spent my childhood in Saudi Arabia and New Zealand. I first started learning piano at the age of five. I have fond memories of great lessons with inspiring teachers growing up shaping my creativity and musical understanding.

I am committed in aspiring students the same way I have experienced. I have taught over 100 students individually ranging in age from as young as four to adults. I love working with students of all levels and helping them to enjoy creating music.

Availability: Piano, cello and music theory lessons are given online or across London including Swiss Cottage, Hampstead, Camden, Golders Green, Swiss Cottage, Belsize Park, Highgate and St.John`s Wood.

Experience: I’m committed to each student’s development as an individual. Through understanding each student’s individual needs, goals and aspirations, I create a balanced lesson covering every aspect of cello and piano playing including technique, sight-reading, aural, musical expression and posture.

Students spend a lot more time practicing than they do performing or auditioning. I help students to visualise real performing from overcoming nervousness and pressure to having the correct stage presence and ultimately helping them enjoy the experience.

Many of my students work towards digital and face-to-face grade exams. I am experienced in successfully guiding them from beginning to the end with all aspect of the exam. I also play the piano accompaniment with most of my cello students at the exams.
