Music has been central to my life since I started piano lessons at the age of five. The enjoyment and fulfilment I’ve had from it all my life is immeasurable and I am committed in passing the joy and knowledge to everyone.

I believe that music transforms lives, offers a voice where words fail, and has a positive impact on health and well-being. Just as my own teachers nurtured my musical skills, I want to nurture each of my own student’s too.

As a teacher, I strive to provide the most comprehensive music lessons for students of all level. I balance my lessons between fun and progress, using various teaching methods, activities and technologies. With over 15 years experience, I have taught some 10,000 hours of one-to-one instrumental lessons. I have taught over 100 individual students ranging in age from four to 75+; from beginners to diploma-level, both amateurs and professionals.

Experience: I’m committed to each student’s development as an individual. Through understanding each student’s individual needs, goals and aspirations, I create a balanced lesson covering every aspect of cello and piano playing including technique, sight-reading, aural, musical expression and posture.

Students spend a lot more time practicing than they do performing or auditioning. I help students to visualize real performing from overcoming nervousness and pressure to having the correct stage presence and ultimately helping them enjoy the experience.
