I have over 35 years experience teaching English to all age groups and abilities including GCSE English Language and Literature. After teaching full time in schools and FE I now teach one to one, which allows me to shape learning style and content to a particular learner’s needs and to create and adapt resources to match their interests and abilities. All students learn and respond in different ways; finding and creating the key to unlock and develop their full potential, to understand their personal barriers to learning, to encourage a love of learning and to motivate and help them succeed is very important to me.
I have also spent many years teaching English as a Second or Other Language and TEFL to all age groups and at all levels both in the UK and abroad.

I have practiced meditation daily since the age of 13, and taught many Mindfulness courses and on various Meditation retreats. I teach, guide and support others in meditation practices and mindful movement. I have completed extensive training to deliver Mindfulness for Health, Mindfulness for Stress and Mindfulness for Pain Management, in accordance with government guidelines and the UK Network of Mindfulness-based teacher training and am continually upgrading myskills. I can help you on your Meditation journey, whatever stage you are on, and whatever path you are following.

I run Mindfulness courses and Mindful Movement and also teach on various retreats. I offer one to one meditation lessons, and have experience in helping those with both managing pain and to reduce stress and anxiety.
