I love science and endeavour to convey that enthusiasm to my students. I achieved an average grade of 90% in my exams at university (a first is 70%) and have experience of research in synthetic organic chemistry, solid state chemistry and spectroscopy/optics. I have also carried out postgraduate research in molecular biology.
My personal approach to learning ensures that the key concepts are fully understood, to provide a solid foundation for mastering the subject. As well as teaching you your chosen subject, I can teach you how to study effectively.
I am a patient and easygoing tutor and I hope our work together will bump up your grade!
Availability: Very flexible availability, throughout the week and weekend.
