I am an enthusiastic and supportive private tutor based in St Albans. I provide one-to-one tuition for all the Sciences up to GCSE level and Biology up to A-Level. I can also help with personal statements and cover letters etc. when applying for further education or jobs after leaving school.

I am passionate about learning and spend time planning each lesson thoroughly according to the student`s needs and make sure I work with the student, parents and school teachers to help reach the student`s goals. My aim is to help the student become more confident in their approach to science, become skilled problem solvers and also acquire the study skills that will see them in good stead during their GCSEs and beyond.

During tuition all students will be provided with a range of materials for topics taught. This will include 1) personalised teaching power points. 2) revision guides and 3) past question papers.

Experience: I have over 5 years of tutoring experience and spent 4 years writing and delivering online Masters-level teaching materials on Public Health and Nutrition. I am passionate about science; my other academic qualifications include an MSc in Public Health and a BSc in Human Biology.
