Chemistry excites me and I love explaining its principles to others. As well as teaching the subject, I am keen to pass on my excellent revision and exam techniques, which are also essential for achieving your maximum grade.

I achieved 97% in A-level Chemistry, a 1st class degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford and subsequently completed a DPhil in Organic Chemistry at the same university. During my DPhil I developed excellent communication skills through regular presentations in the department. In my final year, I was awarded the DPhil symposium prize for my presentation.

Everyone learns in different ways and finds different aspects of the course challenging. I enjoy working with pupils to find out which techniques they find most helpful, and which areas of the course they need to focus on to maximise their potential.

Availability: Weekday evenings and weekends.

Experience: I have provided tuition to pupils taking Oxford admissions interviews and to family members studying for A-levels.
