Information about Brenda
I am a qualified teacher of English Language and Literature and taught in a highly successful private school for 25 years before retiring. I am also a GCSE examiner and moderator. My strengths lie in teaching and improving reading and writing, and my GCSE results have always been A-A* I also really enjoy teaching literature.
I have had a lot of pleasure teaching and would like to become involved in the process again. I take great satisfaction in one to one teaching. I have experience in tutoring children from age 7 upwards and particularly for common entrance, KS2,3 and 4, GCSE and A Level.

Has greatly improved my daughters understanding and more importantly confidence which has brought out significant improvement in her work. Reliable and passionate about teaching and strongly recommend. My daughter had reservations about home tutoring but in the end bought into it and subsequently asked for weekly sessions having started to enjoy her learning again.
