I`m a highly successful ex-fashion photographer, with over 20 yrs of industry experience
After assisting Mert & Marcus and Tom Munro, I created imagery for clients such as Daks, Dune, Marie-Claire and Elle Magazine.

I now work as an Art and Photography secondary school teacher. I teach KS3 Art and A-Level Photography.

I`m looking to pass on my knowledge to those willing to learn about photography theory and practice.

My knowledge is not confined to fashion photography but to all forms, landscape, sport, food, documentary etc as I have experience in some capacity of all of these.

I can help with photography theory in practical ways making it easy to understand and utilise the basic concepts of photography, apertures, shutter speeds, ISO, shooting modes, file formats, white balance etc

Understanding light from hard light, soft light, ambient light, continuous light, flash light, and how and when to use each one. Composition, framing, editing, retouching.

How to approach shooting your own subjects be it food, people or landscapes, and to understand your own style and what inspires you.

I`m open to helping with specific questions or a larger more general approach. Nothing is to big or too small, everyone has to start somewhere!
