I recognise that GCSE Science is a “difficult” subject for many pupils to grasp and understand because it involves a number of abstract concepts. However, I also recognise the value patience and perseverance can have in helping students tackle these seemingly difficult concepts.

I strongly believe that if you want to do well in science, you need to understand that ideas involved. I will therefore help you to understand what on Earth is going on, instead of making the exam a memory game!

I have found my calm and patient manner to be very effective in the classroom, and I am offering this support to you. I understand how it feels when you “just don’t get it”, so don’t worry, I am here to help! I will use a variety of explanations to help you overcome your challenges in the subject, and this will be supported by a number of models/analogies.

Teacher of KS3 Science to Year 7 and 8, and AQA Science to Years 9 to 11. Additionally, I teach Year 9 and Year 10 Triple Science.
