Originally from the UK. Graduate in Physics from the University of Durham. I moved to Spain in 1991 to study for a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from I.E.S.E., Barcelona, Spain`s oldest and most prestigious business school. I have lived and worked in Spain for more than 20 years, and am completely bilingual, with Spanish being the language of choice spoken at home with my children.

Experience: I have some direct teaching experience at secondary school level, and have DBS certified clearance to be able to work with children. I am accustomed to resourcing and preparing lessons to suit all year groups including GCSE and A-Level. For adults similarly I can adapt sessions to all levels, from beginners right up to professionals seeking to develop an effective and working business Spanish.

I love Spain, and am passionate about everything Spanish, and my approach is to try to pass on this enthusiasm to my tutees. I try to tailor sessions to make them as interesting and as engaging as possible, and am a great believer in ‘immersion’, i.e. working through each session as completely as possible in Spanish.
