SORRY I CURRENTLY HAVE NO AVAILABILITY. I am a maths tutor, piano teacher and violin teacher based in Aberdeen. I am currently teaching mostly online, but am hoping to pick up in person lessons as restrictions decrease.

MATHS: I believe that the best method in teaching maths is practical - guiding students through a range of questions in order to improve confidence and understanding. Maths doesn`t have to be scary! I work alongside the national curriculum to ensure all subject areas are properly covered.
I grew up in South Wales in a family of teachers, and I achieved A*A*A* in my A Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Music. In July 2018 I graduated from the University of Warwick with a 1st Class degree in mathematics. I took modules in pure maths, problem solving, probability and philosophy. Since then, I have been tutoring maths to a range of ages - from year 7 to A Level. I also have experience of teaching primary school students in both an individual and group setting.

MUSIC:
Music is my passion and I love performing with others! Having recently graduated with a Master of Music degree from the Royal Northern College of Music (2018-2020) , I have performed with the Halle, the BBC NOW and at the BBC Proms. I have distinctions in both ABRSM Grade 8 Violin and Piano.  I believe that everyone has the potential to become a talented musician and performer. It is important to learn good technique from the very start, I combine exercises with various styles of pieces to help you become a rounded musician. I am familiar with the ABRSM Grade exam system and encourage students to progress through the grades. I also encourage students to perform together (before COVID anyway!).

Availability: I still have some availability mid-week and on weekends!

Experience: I have taught many students from Year 7 to A Level, and also have experience teaching primary school maths and music.
