Hello,

My name is Dr , I have been a private tutor for eight years and I have taught English and Politics for over ten years.

I have successfully tutored 150 students, I consistently improve their grades within a short period of time and I also provide essential skills for further study(college, university). I care deeply for every single one of my students, supporting them to reach their potential. I believe no one should be left behind and I will do all I can do help students, especially those falling behind, to get the grades and skills they need for a bright future.

My teaching style is simple: learn while doing, I have practical in every lesson I teach, I always get the student/pupil to take an active part in every lesson, this allows them to not only learn the information but also remember it. I also believe that when a student enjoys the session they are more likely to be successful, I adapt to different learning styles that suits the students needs.

I have a PhD in History and Politics, an MA in International Relations and a BA in History and Politics from the University of Northampton and I am recognised as a fellow by the Higher Education Authority(teaching qualification). During my studies I taught English at GCSE/A level and adult learners.

I provide detailed feedback after every lesson! I always make sure parents are fully informed about how tuition is going and what is being worked on.

Availability: Monday-Sunday

Experience: I have an excellent record of teaching at KS1-5, GCSE and A level. I have ten years of teaching experience in primary and secondary schools. I also have six years of experience teaching at Bachelor and Masters level.
