I believe in helping students to enjoy their studies AND achieve good grades. In my experience, the two often come together. I have a wide range of experience of helping people improve their academic and practical skills, and realise their full potential.

I have a Masters in Developmental and Clinical Psychology, a First Class Bachelors Degree in Psychology, and a college background in English Literature, History and Theatre Studies. I specialise in tutoring GCSE and A Level Psychology, English and Theatre Studies, providing guidance and mentoring with coursework, essay-writing, practical assignments, and exam preparation.

Availability: Thursday afternoons, Friday mornings, and weekends.

Experience: For the past year I have worked as teaching assistant in a school for children excluded from mainstream education. I currently work as an Assistant Teacher (morning) and Psychotherapy Assistant (afternoon) in an a specialised school for young people studying GCSEs or A Levels. I specialise here in tutoring English Literature, Psychology and Theatre Studies.

In the past, I have worked in schools abroad (South Africa, Thailand and Fiji) on volunteer projects, and within other youth organisations as a mentor. I have a wide range of experience of working with children with varying levels of academic ability and motivation, and believe that every student has the potential to exceed expectations.
