Hi! I am a passionate, friendly and professional tutor. Available to teach GCSE and A-Level English (both language and literature). Flexible and familiar with most UK exam boards, including source-based essay questions and unseen poetry questions. I can customise lessons according to your ability and current needs to meet exam/coursework requirements. I am keen to guide students into building an analytical approach when reading texts, and developing concise writing skills.

I can assist students in how to closely read a text (poetry, prose, and plays), understand key concepts and contexts, brainstorm original ideas, and plan and write an essay under timed conditions. I would regularly monitor students` progress with topic-specific exam papers and homework. In addition to texts and exam papers, I can recommend extra online resources and revision techniques. I can also teach English as a foreign language and work with you on spelling, written and verbal communication, grammar, and pronunciation.

Availability: Afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Experience: I have gained valuable experience in working with young people in the UK and abroad where I taught in schools to students of all ages from 5-18. I am also a freelance writer and editor for Copify, where I regularly publish blogs on various topics. I am an avid reader and I write in my spare time.
