I am a graduate of geography and biology, with 17 years` experience of work in Learning Support at York College, during which time I qualified as a counsellor and completed several specialist courses such as in dyslexia awareness.

I also have a TESOL certificate and have worked with students from various cultures, including tutoring English at Queen Ethelburga`s school.

My tuition is student led, aiming to closely follow student needs and pace. I have a good rapport both with students and parents. I am reliable, punctual and professional.

Availability: Available most weekdays, daytime and evenings for online tuition. Some weekend tuition also available if required.

Experience: I have been a successful private tutor since 1997 and offer English and maths from primary level up to GCSE. I also offer biology and geography up to A level. I have experience of working with students who are dyslexic or have other learning difficulties/special educational needs. Additionally, I have a specialism in ESOL. I tutor to all the main English exam boards.
