I am currently studying physics at the University of Exeter and I can`t wait to help tutees achieve their desired grades or even surpass their own expectations.

Having just completed the second year of my degree, my A level and GCSE exams weren`t too long ago. Thus I have recent experience of studying the content and sitting those very exams, although I am aware of variation between exam boards and changes to the specification. With this comes familiarity with not only content and exam technique, but also of sitting at a desk going through that learning process.

My prime goal is to give students a fundamental understanding of the material, taking a warm and personal approach to teaching, which may be harder to obtain in school or college. I know how hard it can be to do maths or physics with someone looking over your shoulder, so I want to create a relaxed environment, in which nothing is too silly to ask, and not only is it OK to make mistakes, but they are seen as brilliant opportunities from which to learn and build understanding.

Availability: Weekdays in the afternoon/evenings.

Experience: Experience tutoring A level Maths/Physics and GCSE Physics.
Personal qualifications:
GCSEs: 9 A* and an A, managing to get the highest score in the year for maths.
A Levels: 3 A* in Maths, Further Maths and Physics.
EPQ: A*, for physics-based project.
