I am an outstanding Secondary School teacher, specialising in Geography, currently working as a Head of Department in Surrey.
I believe that through sharing my passion and enthusiasm for the subject I am an effective teacher, building both subject knowledge and self-confidence along the way.
Through volunteering as a Teaching Assistant, I have gained experience with EAL and SEND students, meaning that I can offer support and effective teaching to all students, even those who may experience difficulties with their learning and who are struggling in mainstream education.
Whether a student requires support with subject knowledge or application in exams, I am able to assist any student to achieve their desired grade. I am able to tutor students of all levels and abilities; from those aiming for a 9 to students that just need a pass.
Initially I will establish a student`s issues and concerns, creating a tailored programme of study. I will also be able to give advice on revision strategies and resources to supplement sessions.
