I am a qualified maths teacher available to support anyone looking to build on their ability and confidence in mathematics at GCSE level.

I have seen how the latest changes to the curriculum are effecting students during testing and reducing confidence in a lot of them. I will work with tutees to develop methods enabling them to answer questions to gain the most marks, as well as building confidence and filling gaps in knowledge.

I am passionate about my subject and working with others to reduce fear in the subject and take them to the next step or grade. I will start by doing an assessment of current ability and understanding, often a discussion with some examples of where we will be heading, it is very important during this initial session that I get a clear view of what work needs to be done, this can often be a challenge as people can fear getting things wrong, I never judge anyone`s ability I just ask for honesty at this stage so we can make good progress.

Availability: I will mostly be focused on GCSE revision starting in Easter holidays, I am happy to do group revision sessions, but again will need to travel to you.
Available any time during holidays and after 4pm outside holidays.
