Aoife has been tutoring my son (year 4) for the last 9months to improve his English with a focus on spelling and creative writing. She has proven prompt, polite and reliable at all times and he is making excellent progress under her tutoring. He thoroughly enjoys his weekly sessions and has actively engaged in his learning with Aoife when previously engagement was a challenge. Aoife is a great communicator and has kept both parents and student well informed throughout.

Aoife is an responsible and professional English teacher. She is very familiar with the national curriculum, and always prepare fun and challenging materials for her lessons. My child enjoyed her lessons, and we can see great improvement since we started the lesson.

Aoife has strong credentials which is why we booked her for our 8-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, she is a little unreliable as she had to cancel twice at very short notice and ultimately decided the timing didn`t work in her schedule. Had we known that from the beginning, we would have offered the position to another tutor.
Tutors Response :
I regret that I appeared to be unreliable but unfortunately these were circumstances outside of my control. I am a very dedicated teacher & I was fully committed to this position on accepting. The run up to Christmas was a lot busier than I had anticipated and logically I couldn’t meet the time schedule arranged. I’ve taken this on board for future lesson booking. I regret any inconvenience caused.
