A level results:
Summer 2022 - 80% A* (100% A.A) plus ELAT success.
Summer 2019 - 1 in 3 of my students achieved A*s - from a mixed ability cohort.

2015 to present:
Former Head of English at Collingham Independent GCSE and Sixth Form College where I still teach individuals and very small groups A Level, GCSE and Year 9. Excellent subject and syllabus knowledge combined. (OCR, EdExcel and AQA.)

2020-2021:Head of English (Maternity Cover) at Tower House Prep School, where I taught and marked Common Entrance, so I offer tutoring at this level too.

8 years tutoring experience at GCSE English Language and Literature as well as A Level English Literature. All my students have enjoyed our work together and significantly improved their grades.

Educated at Westminster and won an Exhibition (scholarship) to read English at Exeter College, Oxford.
My passion - and discipline - is English literature; I also teach History of Art, which I studied at A Level and also love.
I have a thorough knowledge of the set texts and great love of Shakespeare. I can communicate my enthusiasm for my subject - and also teach you how to structure your thoughts into a focused sharp essay.
