Hi, I`m Shaul, a medical student at the University of Exeter with aspirations to work in paediatrics, and a former QE Boys student with over five years of tutoring experience.

With A* grades in Biology and Chemistry at A-level, 8s and 9s across my GCSEs, and a top 3% UCAT score achieved alongside the full medical school application process, I have a real understanding of the standard expected at selective schools and what it takes to get there.

I specialise in GCSE maths and sciences and medical school entry, including UCAT, personal statements, and interview preparation. Students I`ve supported have gone on to secure offers from Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, and Kings among others.

My approach adapts to what each student actually needs. For some that means building from first principles; for others it means targeted exam technique and working through weak spots systematically. All of my GCSE students have improved on their predicted grades, with most achieving 8s and 9s. I track progress carefully and I`m honest about where the gaps are and how to close them. I also care about the bigger picture, keeping an eye on confidence and wellbeing alongside the academic side, especially during high-pressure exam periods.

I offer a short introductory call at a reduced rate, which is deducted from your first full lesson if you choose to continue. This is a roughly 30 minute call to assess your child’s current level, identify key gaps, and establish whether we’re a good fit before committing to regular sessions.
